An exciting new menu at the Palm Court Restaurant is a
celebration of fine cuisine from around the world. Mouth-watering appetizers, such as
shrimp bisque, Caribbean conch fritters, and warm goat cheese in filo dough prepare your
palate for the delectable entrees to follow: Tender Roasted Prime Rib of Beef, Pan-fried
Local Red Snapper with Lemon Butter Sauce, and...
A stop at Coconuts is stimulating in more ways than one. This unusual,
two-tiered outdoor bar serves non-stop action along with dynamic water views and drinks
delivered via rope and pulley to the upstairs crowd. Another exceptional offering is the Bunker
Bar, situated over the water with sweeping views of the resort and sparkling sea. Its
newly-added beachside grill offers excellent picnic-style dining.
Sports & Activities
Along with the indulgences at Tamarijn Aruba, there are all
kinds of recreational activities to keep you fit. Theme parties, carnivals, and treasure
hunts are all part of our daily program. At the Weekly Olympics, the beach and pool
become playing fields for games and friendly competition. Prizes include champagne and
T-Shirts. Non-motorized watersports, windsurfing, and a special windsurfing clinic are
offered free of charge. There is volleyball on the beach, a freshwater swimming pool, a
fully-equipped fitness center, motorized sports, and our famous neon-colored bicycles for
adventures around the property or island.
Tamarijn Aruba's newest attraction is the weekly Championship Golf Tournament, held every Wednesday afternoon between 12:30pm and 5:30pm, at Tierra del Sol, Aruba's brand-new championship golf course. For a fee, you can swing with the pros while you get a vigorous workout. Transportation to the golf course is provided, plus the use of Wilson golf clubs and golf bag, ID tag, and two drink coupons. A cocktail party follows the tournament, where team winners receive prizes.
Renowned tennis professionals from International Sports, Inc. (ISI) head the Tennis Clinic on Tamarijn Aruba's two lighted courts. Rotating weekly pros provide individual and group lessons, and playing time at the request of guests. Many of the pros have competed in major events around the world. Rackets are available for loan or can be purchased from the hotel's gift shop, which also offers fashionable tennis clothing.
