Year Round:

Stockholm: Cultural Capital of Europe 1998. Sweden’s capital launches its celebration of art, culture, nature and society: the Museum of Modern Art opens, operas premiere, Millesgården is renovated, and the whole world is invited.

SURREALISM 1998. Brussels and throughout Wallonia (Belgium). Numerous exhibitions featuring paintings of Magritte, Delvaux and Rops.

Roskilde 1,000-Year Jubilee. (Denmark). This charming town was once home to royalty; its impressive cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Celebrations will be organized under three themes; The Dane, The European, and The Roskilde Citizen.
