Where To Stay

The Metropole Palace re-creates the grandeur of the Belle Époque era with its lavishly appointed suites. The competitively priced Abela Monaco in Fontvieille overlooks the garden and marina.

Other deluxe hotels include the 619-room Loews Monte Carlo, with four restaurants, swimming and spa facilities, cabaret show and casino; the Mirabeau, highlighting traditional service and terraces overlooking the sea; the Hermitage, decorated in the Belle Époque manner; and the Hôtel de Paris, with its noted Louis XV restaurant.

SBM’s Monte Carlo Beach Hotel, renovated in 1993, boasts 45 rooms with a 1920s beach-resort ambiance (May through October). The attractively priced Forte Grand Beach Plaza is operated like a seaside resort. It has a private beach and three pools.
