There are generally more than 240 sunny days a year in Cancun. Contrary to other tropical zones, Cancun does not have a specific rainy season and the constant breeze makes it an extremely pleasant place, even during the summer. The average temperature is 27C (80F).

Transportation
Air
All flights arrive at Cancun International, about 20 minutes from the hotel zone. For $9USD you can share a van from the airport, or pay $32-$50 for a private car. Major airlines serving the airport are: Aero Cancun, Aero Caribe, Aerocozumel, Aeromexico, American Airlines, Aviasca, Cancun Air, Cubana de Aviacion, Continental, Iberia, Lacsa, Mexican de Aviacion, Northwest, Taesa, and Varig.

-Try to avoid buying items from street vendors.

 at other areas casual clothing is suggested.
-Take care to protect your skin from the sun.
-Don't leave litter on the beaches.
-Carry a water bottle when visiting archeological sites.
