Business
Anyone wishing to conduct business in Lima should keep a few things in mind. Objects of
archeological or historical value may not be taken out of the country. There are
international agreements with most countries for confiscation of such items when abroad.
It is also important to remember that the Peruvian Law for the Conservation of Nature
forbids the hunting, capture or commercialization of any of the species of wild animals
found in the jungle regions, whether they be mammal, bird, or reptile. The trade of vicuna
is totally forbidden.
