Dining Facilities
Sand Dollar provides a number of dining
options for guests, including meal plans at The Green Parrot. If you wish to stay
in and cook, there is a fully-stocked grocery store, as well as a tempting ice cream
parlor, in the resort's shopping center. You can also choose to have a pleasant evening
barbecue on one of the seaside terraces.
The Green Parrot, located on the Sand Dollar dock, is one of the most popular restaurants on the island. It is an easygoing and inexpensive family-run operation, notable for its perfect margaritas and mouth-watering burgers but also offering very good fresh fish, barbecue, and daily specials. The restaurant's terrace is an especially good spot to sit outside with a drink and watch the sun drop into the ocean. The Green Parrot is open all day for meals and snacks. Guests who do not opt for the meal plan should be sure to make reservations in high season. The Green Parrot accepts American Express, Mastercard, and Visa.
