Sand Dollar offers
complete family vacation packages.
"The Sand Penny Club" is a supervised children's program that runs Monday to Friday from 08:15AM to Noon and 01:00 to 04:30PM. This program is geared for children from 3 to 6 years old and it is free of charge. Program will feature: \
- Arts and crafts
- Beach time
- Video time
- Pool time
- Sand sculpting.
Parents should bring child(ren) to the Front Desk at 08:15AM. Please be advised to dress child(ren) accordingly with swim suits, sneakers, hats and sun screen lotion.

Please note that there will be a charge of $60.00 per child for the whole week. The program is for children between the ages of 5-15. Also water, orange juice and some snacks will be provided.

May & June - 7th Night Free |
| Stay 7 Nights and one is on us!! Not only do you get the "7th night FREE", you also get one FREE day of diving and one FREE day of meal plan for all prepaid packages. |
August is Family Month |
| August is Family Month on Bonaire - and at SAND DOLLAR! For this special month, kids to the age of 12 stay free! Especially for the kids this month, we will have a full week of activities like video times, an island excursion, snorkeling, arts & craft, trips to Klein Bonaire and lots of other fun stuff! |
September & October - 7th Night Free |
| The "7th Night Free" is back for September and October! Just like in May and June -- you pay for 6 nights and the 7th is FREE. Same goes for diving and meals on all prepaid packages. Also, held in Septenber is the famous Niknos Shootout! Call for specific dates. |
November is Dive Festival Month |
| Join us for a week of fun, knowledge, special activities and of course a lot of diving in the annual Bonaire Dive Festival. November is also Sand Dollar Underwater Photo and Video Contest month, with discounts on camera rentals. Win lost of prizes, including free accommodations, diving, and other great gifts for taking the best underwater photo or video, as judged by our photo staff! (Photo's must have been taken from November 1st through 30th, judging will be done the November 30th or later, winner(s) will be notified via mail or phone and must be staying at Sand Dollar. See photo shop for details.) |

Free Peak-Performance
Buoyancy Control Workshop: Take the lead out and add some finesse to your diving.
After a quick briefing, you will learn to figure out exactly how much lead you need to
descend and move effortlessly while diving. You'll quickly see the results in lower air
consumption and longer more relaxing dives.
Free Photo Buoyancy Control Workshop: Now that we glide effortlessly through the water, how are we affected when we pick up our cameras? The workshop concentrates on special techniques of maneuvering while carrying camera equipment. (PADI Specialty Certification Optional).
2 free Slides Shows Each Week: Tuesday Nights - Photo Pro Jim Brandon will take you for a tour of the unique critters of the sea giving you not only a chance to identify the, but also a chance to find out something about their behavior in his slide show "Bari Reef-A Closer Look." Thursday Night - Jerry Ligon hosts "Flora and Fauna of the Caribbean."
Free Snorkel Field Trip For Fish Identification: Expand your knowledge about identification and ecology of reef fish by participating in these "Field Trips" conducted right off Sand Dollar's dock in shallow water. This program offered Sunday and Tuesday, 2:00pm to 3:pm.
Green Parrot Restaurant: Join the Green Parrot for their
famous Saturday night BBQ, live entertainment on Saturday and Sunday nights. Daily
specials! Tuesday Evening Manager's Cocktail Party at the pool bar. (5-6 P.M.)
Other Activities Above Water: • Enjoy the
authentic Siamese Junk Samur on a sunset of day-sail. • Take a deep sea
fishing charter for wahoo, tuna, and marlin. • Try a guided snorkeling, Kayaking or
mountain biking excursion. • Take a PADI ocean diver kayak specialty course.
