Transportation
Air - International flights arrive at Mariano Escobedo Airport, about 25 minutes from down- town ($14USD by taxi). Major carriers: Mexicana, Aeromexico, Aerocaribe, Aerolitoral, American Airlines, Continental, Taesa, and Aeroexo.

Taxis -  Taxis are available throughout the city.

Rail:  Only cargo. No passenger trains available.

Subway:  The subway services only the down- town area.

Banamex, Banca Serfin, Bancomer, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya, Bital, Banco del Atlantico, Inverlat, Banapais, Santander Mexicano.

There are many good facilities in the area

-Don't drive over 60km/hr.
-Try to avoid buying items from street vendors.
-Please cooperate with the ecological campaigns to help
 preserve local endangered species.
-Bathing suits and bare feet are for the beach and pool; at
 other areas casual clothing is suggested.
-Take care to protect your skin from the sun.
-Don't leave litter on the beaches.
-Carry a water bottle when visiting archeological sites.
